Attitude is everything!

Today I was watching a video replay of a weekend training done by Suzanne Evans and David Neagle for the More Life Tour.   The second half of the video (this was a total of 4 hours), David Neagle told the story of how he incredibly changed his life for the better when he changed his attitude.  He said something that was pretty profound to me.  Before he became successful, he knew he needed to change his attitude since he recognized that his attitude stunk, but he didn't know WHAT KIND of attitude he actually wanted!  This made me think about attitudes and what kinds of attitudes are the options.  My mindset has always been that a positive attitude or mindset is preferential.  Have an attitude of "cup half full, not cup half empty".  If you think about the people whom you consider to be the most successful in life, do they have a positive or a negative attitude?  I would venture a guess that most, if not all, have a positive attitude.

Is attitude everything?  When you have a belief in yourself and the inherent good in the world, you can move mountains.  With all the resources possible to be a success but without the mindset of a positive can-do attitude, you will most likely get very little accomplished.  So it's up to you to interpret the title of today's post--is attitude everything?

How is your attitude right now?  Have you given up trying to overcome your obstacles and resigned yourself to complacency with an attitude of 'that's just the way it is and I should accept it'?  Or do you want something better in your life--want to accomplish something during your time here on this planet and want to move forward to create your legacy and leave your mark in the world?  There are many brilliant women who have given up their dreams. They have become negative and they are dying with their dreams inside them.  Don't let this happen to you!!  With a positive, confident, loving, sincere, and grateful attitude, you can do anything you want.  "Whatever the mind of man can conceive and believe, it can achieve."  This quote has been attributed to several authors, among them W. Clement Stone.  Another less well-known quote by the same author, W. Clement Stone, sums it up. "There is little difference in people, but that little difference makes a big difference.  The little difference is attitude.  The big difference is whether it is positive or negative."

Remember that it's been said that life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it. Think a little about your attitude and whether you need an attitude adjustment.  Like David Naegle, you might just find that there's no going back once you make that shift.
